Family: Rutaceae
Native to China, the dried berries of this tree have a peppery flavor,
and are used in Chinese five-spice powder. In China the leaves are boiled
and eaten with oil and salt. Chemical composition of the leaf contains
an essential oil and saponin. In Japan the seeds used as a condiment.
