Juniper

Family: Coniferae
Native to the northern hemisphere, Juniper ranges from a small shrub
four to six feet high to a tall tree upwards of forty feet, and the
berries are usually dried. In Germany it is used in sauerkraut. The
berries are used for the production of the volatile oil which is a prime
ingredient in Geneva or Hollands Gin. The berries can also be used to
make tea.
